Contractor Conditions of Entry
Please read these conditions, then confirm your agreement below.
This is to ensure that when contractors visit C Care premises for maintenance and the like activities, they understand the C Care expectations on them; to keep them safe and comply with the HACCP requirements.
What we do
- Follow the instructions from the C Care host.
- Report to your host any serious illnesses you have had in the past 48 hours. e.g. Diarrhoea, Covid, Hepatitis, Gastro.
- Wear C Care mandated Hairnet/Beard net and clean clothes in food areas when required.
- Wear covered in shoes at all times.
- Wash hands before entering or re-entering food preparation areas.
- Aware of hazards that include hot surfaces, traffic movements, pallet jacks, etc.
- Understand emergency response arrangements.
- Be fully licensed and insured to do the work.
- Tools are fit for purpose and in good condition.
- All electrical tools and equipment tagged and tested.
- Wear Personal protective equipment appropriate for the work including high visibility vest.
- When working in isolated locations, ensure you have a working mobile phone and your C Care host is aware of your whereabouts.
- Work involving grinding or welding to be fully segregated to prevent food contamination.
- No dropped objects to be left lying around and only food grade grease and lubricants to be used in food areas.
- Equipment being worked on is isolated and tagged out of service.
- No work on ladders above 2 metres without permission from C Care host.
- Report any incidents or injuries to C Care.
- Sign out when work is completed.
